I Share Interesting Stuff

      Well, it has been a long journey, but we have come to an end. Different from the last year, in this term I have studied Educational Technologies course. Was it super interesting for me? I would not probably say yes as a person who spends most of his time with things connected to pc and internet. I was -at least- acquainted with most of the content taught in the course. But for someone who does not use computer at all besides social media may have found it interesting. Still, it was beneficial for me as I learned actually how can I use these websites in the teaching process, how can I integrate it to my classes in a fun way, so that students can both have fun and learn.     As this integration was the main concern of this course, I have to admit that it was super beneficial. Today, it is inevitable not to use technology in education, and we have been taught how to use it well as a future teacher candidate. So, what can be boring about it?   ...

Hey, it's me again with another post. In this post, I will share with you the movie poster that I created by adapting from a real book. The book that I chose is Notes From Underground, which was written by Fyodor Dostoevsky. By the word ''underground'' he reflects his own mind in the book. He shouts out his hatred against himself, people and life. While choosing the background, I tried to reflect his dark inner self. What he thinks inside. And I tried to pick some striking quotes that could draw the attention of those who look at the banner. And the word ''Underground'' is the biggest because, again, it is the most striking part of the title.

Hello everyone! Today, I want to share with you some information about webtools and mention some webtools I think that are the most useful for us, future teachers. Firstly, I want to congratulate your new year and wish you all luck and everything you want in 2020. Now, let's move on to our sites.  1- Pixton : It is a tool that allows you to create a book. (what I like the most is comics, though!) Just like most of the websites that I will recommend, it is free up to some extent and if you want more features you need to pay to have access.  2- Canva : To simply explain, The website that I used for creating the banner in this post is canva. You can create posters, infographics and more stuff through it. There are templates prepared and you just need to choose one related to your subject.  3- Poster My Wall : It is similar to Canva, but additionally, you can create video posters thorugh it. It also has free templates and you can edit them however you want.

Hey everyone, today we've made a video concerning a topic that probably all of us have been experienced at least once in our lives. It is about cyberbullying. Cyberbullying is bullying that takes place over digital devices like cell phones, computers, and tablets. It can occur through SMS, Text, and apps, or online in social media, forums, or gaming where people can view, participate in, or share content. Cyberbullying includes sending, posting, or sharing negative, harmful, false, or mean content about someone else. It can include sharing personal or private information about someone else causing embarrassment or humiliation. Some cyberbullying crosses the line into criminal behavior. Hello. Today I am going to share with you the podcast that I created and my thoughts about it. You can listen to it from below. It was actually enjoyable but choosing the subject was the hardest part of the task. I realized that there are so many things to change in our world. In the future I can use this activity with my students because the feeling of creating something on your own is really honorary. It motivates for learning English.
